Give it a bright, partially shaded spot and protect it from direct sunlight.
It thrives best in a warm and humid environment. Keep its soil moist at all times; water sparingly in winter.
Its stems can easily take root in water.
It is native to Bangladesh, Thailand, Borneo, Malaysia and the Philippines. In its natural habitat, it curls up on or trails from branches of trees, and can even reach a length of 2-3 metres.
